A High Court in Kaduna State, on Friday, sentenced a businessman, Samson Eneche and his company, Blue Saint Trading and Logistics Limited , to one-year imprisonment for defrauding an oil -servicing company, Del Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited of N15m.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) charged Eneche with one count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretences.

A High Court in Kaduna State, on Friday, condemned a specialist, Samson Eneche and his organization, Blue Saint Trading and Logistics Limited, to one-year detainment for swindling an oil – adjusting organization, Del Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited of N15m.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) accused Eneche of one tally charge verging on getting cash by misrepresentations.
Equity Darius Khobo condemned endless supply of the case realities and proof offered by the EFCC.
Prior, the EFCC Counsel, S.H. Sa’ad educated the court that the convict was first charged on Sept. 12, 2017.
As per the examiner, the convict had argued not blameworthy to the charge and was conceded bail when he was summoned however he mishandled the bail condition allowed him and disappeared for a long time, which prompted a few dismissals. According to the prosecutor, the convict had pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail when he was arraigned but he abused the bail condition granted him and went missing for three years, which led to several adjournments.
Sa’ad told the court that the activity of convict incited the arraignment to apply for his preliminary in absentia, which the court conceded.
