Official Jets Services Limited, an aircraft suspended by the Federal Government for flying Musician, Azeez Fashola otherwise known as Naira Marley, to Abuja to go to a show, has composed a letter of expression of remorse to the legislature over what it portrayed as a “misunderstanding”.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, had declared the suspension of the aircraft during a Presidential Task Force preparation in Abuja on Monday.

In any case, in a letter dated June 15, 2020, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sam Iwuajoku, said he gave the endorsement for the flight thinking the traveler was the Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola.

In the letter entitled, “Re: Flight For 13/06/2020 Done By Executive Jets Services Ltd To Abuja”, and coordinated to Sirika, Iwuajoku clarified that he didn’t have a clue about the said travelers were “a lot of futile individuals”.

He stated, “We thus apologize for the above trip with your grant ref: FMA/ATMD/0175/V/V/1268 dated eleventh June 2020.

“Please the flight was to convey an appointed authority to Abuja on Sunday, fourteenth, June 2020 as mentioned and the grant was allowed dependent on the application however sadly, when I considered the Judge on Saturday morning to illuminate him that we have the license, he at that point said he has arrived at Abuja as of now with an alternate flight that somebody gave him a lift to Abuja.

“Thus, on Saturday morning, thirteenth June 2020, my staff considered me that they have a contract trip to Abuja, and that the travelers are as of now in the parlor. When in doubt, traveler shows are constantly sent to me before takeoff.
